• Add immune supporting foods and vegetables to your diet as a lifestyle choice. For example, dark chocolate (minimum 60%), fruits preferably organic like papaya, kiwi, blueberries, strawberries, key limes, oranges, lemons.

• Food or plant proteins that contain anti-inflammatory properties will enhance own immune system. Plant proteins can be used in small doses everyday like hemp seeds, chia seeds or moringa leaf powder.

• Monounsaturated fats contain oleic acid which are anti-inflammatory and support immune system, so add the following to your cooked food. Cooking with these fats depletes the nutrients. For example, avocado, extra virgin olive oil, some nuts like pistachio, cashew or hazelnuts.

• Probiotics enhance gut health and aid to protect immune health. Add probiotic foods to your daily diet (in small doses) like fermented foods, sauerkraut or spirulina.

• Stress weakens own immune system, especially because it may cause a chaotic and unhealthy lifestyle. There are many stress educing practices that can be used as a preventative or as a treatment. These include meditation, yoga and talk therapy.

• Gentle exercise can really boost many body systems, including moods, immunity, muscles and thinking patterns. For example, walks (in nature) and strength training support and stimulating developing immune cells.
