In this modern world, the pressure of social media with platforms always showing profiles of individuals living luxurious, fun lifestyles can put self under pressure to feel less than them or as if they are achieving more. In reality, those type of profiles are usually purposely set up to project a fake image that is based on illusion.
Developing knowledge of own self, especially in relation to identity will strengthen own self-worth, esteem and self-development practices. When you know who you are and embrace your essence and divine given gifts, then self will realise the power of inner validation instead of outer validation. It is a strange world we are living in now because so many crave acknowledgement and likes from strangers who do not really know or care about them.
What others think of you will never be as important as how you think of yourself, so think the best of yourself to attract the best for you.
Instead of looking at what others have achieved, make time to reflect and celebrate your own achievements. Each of us are wonderfully and uniquely made with own divine gifts that are not supposed to match anyone else’s.
To be your best does mean that you are living a (holistic) healthy lifestyle that nurtures your mental, physical, emotional and spiritually health.
When you choose faith over fear, you can overcome any doubts or anxiety that may sabotage you even visualising your purpose, let alone achieving. Be your own best friend, not your own worst enemy.
Everybody is born to be their best but external influences like family, friends, school and work, try to determine who self is instead of encouraging self to be expressive and explore inner self.
Know that you are good enough to achieve what is meant for you and if you don’t achieve it, that’s because something else and better is waiting for you so mentally and spiritually prepare yourself to receive your divine opportunities to be your best.
Remember when you know your true self, no other can tell you who you are because you are power-full!
