As we step into the New Year, are you ready for 2026? Have you thought about what you need to move forward this year? Are you focused on a vision? Do you know your purpose?
Each of the above questions are important to understand what your needs are and be inspired to develop self to be own best. Planning is a great way to visualise goals and identify tasks that need to be completed so the desired results are manifested.
Planning your goals in the New Year for the rest of the year can be inspiring, motivating and great for self-esteem because embracing self-worth is a form of self-care. Also, it can feel like a fresh start or renewing of the mind.
Whilst planning your vision and actions for 2026, it’s better to keep them to yourself whilst manifesting so any distractions or sabotaging behaviour is blocked out.
Obviously, a person can plan as much as possible then something may happen that prevents the goal from being reached, but this just means that the plan needs to be adapted. Maybe it’s just not the right time or focus. What else can be done instead?
If you have left planning the New Year until January, it is never too late but doing such from the previous months of October means that a plan is ready to be revealed from the beginning of the next year in January.
Before planning for the New Year, it is definitely worthwhile to reflect on the current or last year to assess what worked and what didn’t work, issues, solutions, resources and connections needed to achieve goals.
You can type or write down your reflections for reference to understand and make sure same problematic actions are not repeated.
Creating a timeline of focuses/tasks, activities and completion dates will allow self to prioritise what and when things need to be done to achieve specific goals.
Remember that planning and strategies lead to success, whereas a lack of focus can lead to delayed results!
