TRY THIS! Healing remedies

Everyone has been through an experience that has broken or chipped away at own mind, body, emotions and spirit. Some self-reflect on what happened and own decision making in the situation, some ignore the pain and try to push through it and some become so broken that self has a revelation that healing is the only way to feel whole again. It’s easy to take the physical healing process for granted because it’s so natural and organic. For example, if an arm is fractured, the pain informs that the arm needs some tender, loving care, some rest and maybe some extra support to enable it to heal quicker and without further issues.

This blog looks at how mental healing can bring peace to overcome trauma and support emotional wellbeing as well as liberate spiritual connection to the Source of all energy.

The concept of mental healing is focused on embracing relevant therapeutic practices to suit own needs. It’s not one fits all and there are many forms of therapy. To embrace healing, the affected person needs to acknowledge that there’s an issue that is impacting own life so self can control own thoughts and actions, instead of being controlled by them. Examples of mental healing practices are counselling/talk therapy, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Art Therapy or Play Therapy.

Holistic healing involves using natural practices to develop and nurture your own mental, physical, spiritual and emotional health to stimulate self as a whole being to be fully connected to self as a lifestyle choice. Examples of holistic healing practices include Yoga, Breathwork, Mindfulness, Meditation, Tai Chi, Qi Gong and Sound Bath Therapy.

Emotional healing allows self to identify and find peace with thoughts and behaviours that may be related to unresolved traumas or post- traumatic stress disorder. Such healing allows self to understand own emotions to be emotionally available and open to nurturing (self) love, which inspires self to love others in a deep reflective, mindful state. Examples of emotional healing are Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Talk therapy, Play Therapy and Group Therapy.

Spiritual healing is more receptive to those who are open and learning about their inner self and by understanding own beliefs. There are many types of religions that worship different Gods but spiritual healing is about understanding self, own energy and high vibrations, believing in the divine and knowing how to connect with self and to the Source to be best and develop faith to trust the process when faced with challenges, instead of trying to control everything. It’s important to understand and control self to maintain own equilibrium.

Heal yourself! Heal others! Heal the world!
