• Invite loved ones to visit you at home and prepare a meal so that the focus is about sharing and supporting each other.
• During the autumn season, spend more time in nature to appreciate the idea of seasonal change, releasing the old and having time to heal.
• Reflect on your own health to assess what health needs and top it up to prepare for the draining winter season. Eg. feeling tired may be due to a lack of iron.
• If spending more time at home, schedule and participating in (guided) meditation to release that which no longer uplifts self. It helps to clear the mind and refocus.
• Exercise daily, even at home, so that energy flows and body is supple to prevent inflammation in the body due to colder weather and poorer circulation.
• Make time in a quiet place to be silent own mind, body, emotions and spirit. At least 5 minutes in silence a day will inspire more self-care practices.
